Where can I obtain the cable to install my electric cooker?
Safety legislation dictates that our electric cookers must be installed by a qualified electrician who should supply the correct size cable and carry out the necessary safety tests, for this reason the product is supplied without cable.

How do I set the clock on my cooker?
Please follow the set up procedure outlined in the instruction booklet.

Please contact our spares dept on 0845 6004916 for further assistance.

Are the ceramic hobs on my cooker designed to switch on and off?
Yes. It is a feature to maximise energy efficiency while maintaining a steady cooking temperature.

When the glass lid is closed is there any safety controls?
Yes, when the lid is closed, a shut-off valve is operated which cuts off the gas to the hob burner.

Why is there no hose supplied with my gas cooker?
All gas appliances must be installed by a Corgi registered engineer (UK) or Board Gais (Republic of Ireland) engineer who will supply the correct hose.

Where is the serial number on my cooker?
Each product range has a fixed location for the rating plate which contains the Model and Serial Number information. When viewed from the front: On single oven in the warmer compartment. On double oven on the right hand side below main door.

My product has ‘Flame Safety Device’. What does it mean?
Flame safety devices are very important safety devices which ensure that the gas supply is turned off to a burner in the event that the burner does not ignite or that the flame has been extinguished.
Recent legislation requires that all gas cookers fitted in flats and multi dwelling buildings will require that new models are fitted with this feature.
